Bailey caravan windows
Martin Bailey builds his first car in 1947 in his garage in South Bristol. In 1948 F.G. Bailey Ltd. is established and production also starts. In 1960 it moves to its current address South Liberty Lane Bristol.
In 1973 Patrick Howard, from the boating industry, buys himself in with Winn Industries. In 1977 Patrick and Stephan Howard buy the company and it becomes Bailey Ltd. Bailey is the longest-established British manufacturer and the most successful for a decade. With 300 people, 9000 vehicles (including campers) are built per year with a turnover of GBP 90 million.
