Abbey caravan windows
The Abbey Caravan Company was founded in 1969 by parent company Cosalt. Cosalt has used Humber as a name until then, but that causes confusion with the car manufacturer. At the end of 1992, Cosalt decided to sell the caravan activity due to a slump in sales and Swift saw his opportunity to buy one of the UK's top brands.
Production is transferred to Cottingham and the Grimsby factory closed. In the summer of 2007, Swift dropped the Abbey brand name when restructuring its brands.
